I’m excited about my future!
My mom told me that telling yourself, “I’m excited about my future” can trick your brain into feeling more optimistic than it really is.
I was broken up with last week. Instead of focusing on the sadness that usually accompanies disappointing breakups, I am focusing instead on my future.
I’m excited about my future.
In my future, I expect to:
Meet the love of my life!!
Publish more books!
Write my breakthrough book!
Become a mom or guardian to a child!
Travel to beautiful places!!
Meet my nieces and nephews!
Make more lifelong friends!!
Enjoy delicious food and many more margaritas!
Laugh until my stomach hurts!
Help others heal while continuing to heal myself.
I expect my future to be full of realized dreams, lifelong love, family, friends, cherished meals, friendship bracelets, comfy beds, bold nail polish, and being high in nature. I want to sit and watch the sunrise, dip my feet into the ocean, and pursue happiness until it is abundant in my life. I want to fall in love a million times: with myself, with the view, with my friends, with “the one.”
I’m turning thirty this year and I have a very good feeling about things.
I’m excited about my future!
